robot???????????????????

im planing to build a robot tonight with parts around my house i cant go buy a kit and i know how to power it i have legos and other things around the house but any ideas on how to make it move and such

i also hav Kenex
the motor im planning on using is incredibly simple and is made with copper wire a magnet and batterys so im not really sure how to hook it up the coppers attatched to two other peices of metal and spins

How to build a robot?

My son has a project due soon where he has to build a robot that will pick up things & move them around. We have done research but still do not have a clue where to begin. Where do you buy the parts or robot kits? How do you build one that will move things?

Where can a find a robot kit to build a robot that looks like wheelie?

In transformers 2 there is a character/robot named wheelie. He is the small robot that Mikaela torches one of his eyes. Is there a kit that can make it something similar to that? And one that can talk and possibly think for its self?
